Special Personal Data

Special personal data is the data related to the person's race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dress, association, foundation or union membership, health, sexual life, criminal conviction and security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data.

Special personal data requires higher protection compared to other data categories. It is regulated under the KVKK that additional information must be provided for the processing of such data.

and personal data related to sexual life can only be processed for the purposes of protecting public health, conducting preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and managing health services and their financing, by persons or authorized institutions and organizations under a confidentiality obligation without the explicit consent of the person concerned.

In cases where the processing of your health data is required, other than the reasons listed in Article 6 of the KVKK, your health data will be processed with your explicit consent.
