This disclosure text has been prepared by Vatan Gazetecilik A.Ş. ("Vatan") in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), relevant legislation, and legal regulations to inform you about the processing, storage, and transfer of the personal data we obtain about you within the scope of our communication activities.

What Personal Data is Processed and What are the Purposes, Legal Grounds, and Methods of Collecting Your Personal Data?

● Your "name, surname" information within the identity data category is processed based on the legal reason "processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" regulated in paragraph 2(f) of Article 5 of the Law, for the purposes of carrying out business activities/monitoring, conducting communication activities, following up requests/complaints, managing customer relations processes, and carrying out customer satisfaction activities.

● Your "email address and phone number" information within the communication data category is processed based on the legal reason "processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" regulated in paragraph 2(f) of Article 5 of the Law, for the purposes of carrying out business activities/monitoring, conducting communication activities, following up requests/complaints, managing customer relations processes, and carrying out customer satisfaction activities.

● Your "subject of request and message content" information within the customer transaction data category is processed based on the legal reason "processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" regulated in paragraph 2(f) of Article 5 of the Law, for the purposes of carrying out business activities/monitoring, conducting communication activities, following up requests/complaints, managing customer relations processes, and carrying out customer satisfaction activities.

To Whom and For What Purposes Can Your Personal Data Be Transferred?

Your personal data may be transferred to:

● Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations for the purposes of conducting activities in accordance with legal regulations, providing information to authorized persons, institutions, and organizations, and following up and conducting legal affairs, to the extent prescribed by legal regulations.

● Affiliates and Subsidiaries for the purposes of conducting information security processes, carrying out business activities/monitoring, conducting storage and archiving activities, conducting finance and accounting operations, and conducting contract processes.

● Supplier Officials and Employees for the purposes of conducting activities in accordance with legislation, managing supply chain processes, carrying out business activities/monitoring, and conducting logistics activities.

Additionally, your personal data may be transferred to WhatsApp LLC, located abroad, based on the legal reason of "Explicit Consent" limited to the purposes of conducting storage and archiving activities, as mentioned above. Your personal data will be transferred in accordance with the rules in Article 8 regarding Transfer or Article 9 regarding Transfer Abroad of KVKK, and necessary technical and administrative measures will be taken, with only the necessary amount of data being transferred to achieve the related purpose.

What Are Your Rights as a Data Subject?

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

● Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

● Request information if your personal data has been processed,

● Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used appropriately for their purpose,

● Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,

● Request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

● Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions prescribed in the KVKK legislation,

● Request that third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be informed of the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect data,

● Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems, and

● Demand compensation if you suffer a loss due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

How Can You Exercise Your Rights?

You can submit your application and requests regarding your personal data via the Data Subject Application Form:

● By sending an email using the email address previously notified and registered in Vatan's systems to kvkkbasvuru@gazetevatan.com,

● By sending a wet-signed letter along with identity-verifying documents to 100.Yıl Mahallesi, 2264 Sokak, Demirören Medya Center, No: 1/51 34204 Bağcılar, Istanbul,

● By applying in person to Vatan Gazetecilik A.Ş. with a valid identity document,

● By signing with a mobile signature or secure electronic signature and sending an email to kvkkbasvuru@gazetevatan.com,

● By sending an email to our registered electronic mail (KEP) address vatangazetecilik@hs03.kep.tr using a registered electronic mail (KEP) address and a secure electronic signature or mobile signature.

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, it is obligatory for the Data Subject to include their name, surname, signature if the application is written, T.C. identification number (or, if the applicant is a foreigner, their nationality, passport number, or identity number if any), residence or workplace address for notification, email address, telephone number, fax number for notification, and information regarding the subject of the request.

The Data Subject must specify the requested issue clearly and understandably in the application containing the explanations regarding the right they wish to exercise. The information and documents related to the application must be attached to the application.

The subject of the request must be related to the applicant themselves. If someone else is acting on behalf of the applicant, the applicant must be specially authorized in this regard, and this authority must be documented (power of attorney). If the request concerns special category data, the applicant must be specially authorized under Article 10 of the Regulation on Personal Health Data. The application must also include identity and address information and be accompanied by identity-verifying documents.

Unauthorized third-party requests made on behalf of others will not be considered.

How Long Does It Take to Respond to Your Requests Regarding the Processing of Your Personal Data?

Your requests regarding your personal data will be evaluated and responded to within 30 days at the latest from the date of receipt. If your application is negatively evaluated, the reasons for the rejection will be sent to the email address or postal address specified in your application, primarily via the methods selected in the Data Subject Application Form.
