The roots of fairy tales extend back to the dark ages of history. Their origins and formation are unknown. They arise as the common property of the people. Living in oral tradition, they are passed down from generation to generation, reaching us today. While fairy tales may contain events we might encounter in real life, they also often feature extraordinary events and extraordinary heroes. Fairy tales contain secrets about humanity's past, as well as reflecting the traditions and customs of the society that compiled them.
